Mike Noble, FSA, FCA, EA, MAAA is a Principal Consulting Actuary at Cheiron. He has two decades of experience advising pension plans. He has helped multiemployer, public sector, and single employer plans on issues including funding requirements, accounting for qualified and non-qualified plans, plan administration, and plan design. Mr. Noble is the lead consultant for several multiemployer and public plans providing annual valuation and consulting services. Using Cheiron’s superior projection models he has worked with a number of boards of trustees on special projects including analyzing the impact of alternative plan designs on member benefits and funding requirements; auditing the long-term projections under various economic scenarios and plan designs for major state retirement systems; implementing Rehabilitation Plans and Funding Improvement Plans for multiemployer plans; assisting in plan terminations for both single and multiemployer plans and assisting with the merger of multiemployer plans. Before becoming an actuary, Mr. Noble taught high school math.
